Anmälan/Sign up
Hur anmäler man sig då om man vill tävla? Jo, man skickar ett e-mail till adressen vaxjoslam@gmail.com och ger oss sitt namn och vilket datum man vill tävla.
Är det bara de tävlande som ska anmäla sig eller ska man anmäla sig om man vill vara jury också? Det är bara om man vill tävla som man ska anmäla det. Vill man vara jury är det bara att komma dit på kvalet och säga det till oss. Naturligtvis får man jättegärna skicka ett e-mail till oss om man är intresserad av att hjälpa till med arrangemanget också, det skulle vi bli jätteglada över!
Regler om jury, tävlingsledare, domare, tidsgränser, poängsättning och dylika mer praktiska detaljer om själva tävlingen kommer upp här på bloggen inom kort.
So, how do you sign up if you want to compete? You send an e-mail to vaxjoslam@gmail.com and give us your name and what date you wanna compete.
Is it just the competing poets who should sign up or do you sign up if you want to be a jury member too? It's just the competing poets who need to sign up. Of course you can also send us an e-mail if you are interested in helping with the event, such as putting up posters. We'd be very happy about that!

Tid och datum för kvaltävlingarna/Time and date for the qualifiers
Vi har bestämt att det blir två kvaltävlingar denna vår och de tävlande som blir etta och tvåa i dessa två kval blir de fyra människor som åker som Växjölaget till SM.
Kval 1:
Kl 16.00 söndagen den 22 mars på Café Tufvan på Växjö Campus
Kval 2:
Kl 18.00 tisdagen den 14 april i caféet på Stadsbiblioteket
We decided to have two qualifiers this spring and those who finish first and second in these competitions will be the four people who form the Växjö team for the Swedish Championships!

Växjölag till SM i Poetry Slam 2009/Växjö team to Swedish Poetry Slam Championships 2009!
Ja, det blir Växjölag till SM i Poetry Slam 2009 också! I år arrangerar ScenkonstCampus kvalen, vi tar över när Växjö Poetry Slam tyvärr ligger på is. Vi har nu bokat datum och platser för kvalen, vi har fixat en e-mail dit man kan anmäla sig om man vill vara med och tävla och följande steg var då att skaffa en blogg där vi kommer skriva om ny information om tävlingarna löpande. Här kommer det finnas regler för hur en tävling i poetry slam går till, det kommer finnas information om när och var tävlingarna är och det kommer också komma upp resultat här när tävlingarna varit så att alla vet vilka människor det är som representerar Växjö i SM! Ja! Wohoo!!

We have now decided on the dates and places for the competitions, we have set up and e-mail address to which people can sign up to read, and the following step was then to set up a blog for continuous information about the competitions. Here we'll put up rules for how a poetry slam is organised, we'll have information about when and where the competitions will be held and we will also put up the results from them so that everybody can find out who will be representing Växjö in the Swedish Championships!
